Born and raised in the same city as Goldie, SB81 may be familiar to you as Nolige but that’s old news - this is the new incarnation of an accomplished producer and it’s no holds barred Headz 2014.

* A: Blueprints
Pure and unadulterated jungle leads this EP. SB81 starts as he means to go on with this one, pitched down vox and classic breaks move in a soldier style under pinned by big bass, a DJ’s dream as it rolls out unbroken until the string laden breakdown

* B1: Four Tun (170 revisit)
Four Tun was one of SB81’s original contributions to HeadzXX and he back this time moving tempo up to 170, the OG was more dark whereas this is much more hopeful, the track almost feels like it moves across planes with ease.

* B2: Arq
Classic half time vibes on this, almost wormhole-esque in its palette but the execution is all his own. It wraps up a very complete EP from SB81 on his second outing for METHXX , we look forward to more from the Wolverhampton native on the label.
